Before throwing your stuff, why not see if it is useful to others? That way, members of your community get the stuff for free (which you were going to trash anyways).
Whatever you think is useless for you, may be useful for others. So by giving your stuff to others, you can save this planet and make this world ... better ... and of course help other good citizens like you. This will, not only help reduce the landfills that are eating away our planet, but also start a movement of people, helping each other.
