What is this site all about? |

We are trying to create a network of good citizens, who donate the things they think are useless for them to others. If you feel, there is something lying around in this house, is not useful, and you are about to trash it out, just post it here. Your trash may get used by some one else. That way, you would do a good thing and also save the landfills that are constantly filling.
If you are looking for something (used or new), before going to the store and buying it, just have a look at the items posted by others. You might find some one giving away the same thing that you need. Well, you get the things for free. Yes free… all you have to do is to search, contact the person who has posted it and fix up a time, place and go and pick it up. You get all that for FREE!!! |

Is it true that everything posted on this website is free? |

Yes, that is right! EVERYTHING posted on this website is free. Someone’s trash maybe useful for some one else. So if someone is throwing away stuff and if you get it, it is free. That is why we ask the people who are posting ads, to post only the items that they are going to throw. See rules … for more details. |

What do you get in all this? |

Nothing... absolutely nothing in material sense ... as it is you were to throw stuff away, but through eCycleZone, you have eCycled the stuff and given it some one in need, plus, you have put in your 2 cents in making this world ... better. The mere fact that you are doing the right thing and of course you get a word of thanks ... nothing else. |

Why not sell the old stuff and make some money on auction sites out there? |

Well, we are trying to make this world better ... and doing the right thing here. If you wish to sell your old stuff on other sites, please do so. eCycleZone is not about money ... it is much more than that and much beyond... |

Simple, just click on the "Post" link and give a title, description and that's it. Other eCyclers would be able to search your posts. |

Do I have to provide an email address? |

Up to you! To become a permanent member and to be able to take part in eCycleZone (communication medium), you would need to be a member. If you don't wish to provide an email address, you can still post your ad and search items. Just that your posts would be available for 20 days only and will be deleted after that. We ourselves are hit by spam so much that we have decided that this will not be done here.... eCycleZone.com guarantees that your personal information will not be sold or shared with any other third party. |

Absolutely nothing!!! At the moment, this movement and even the administrative costs are all funded by the personal savings of its co-founders. We are not here to make any money here. This website just provides a medium for people to help others and to make this world ... better!!! |
